CLI

A small catalog helper: list entries, inspect a contract, resolve installable source.

Commands

The helper lives at bin/ghost-ui.cjs and is wired as the ghost-ui bin. It reads the legacy design-system catalog plus the local registry.json:

terminal

What add prints

add resolves a name to its local source paths, or to the upstream block workflow for page-level blocks. It also prints a hardcoded ghost-ui.com install URL. Until the CLI is repointed at the local registry artifacts described in Registry, treat its paths as the truth and its URL as history.

terminal

Source of truth

The CLI is catalog-driven: component names, categories, and block entries come from design-system/catalog.json, and installable files come from registry.json. A name the catalog does not know exits nonzero with Unknown component or block; a cataloged name with no registry source tells you to inspect its contract and promote it only after an adapter, docs, and an install test exist.
